The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi that brings together the entire city of Mumbai to celebrate the elephant god’s arrival is here. To celebrate and seek blessings from the deity, actress Pooja Banerjee visited Mumbai’s biggest Ganesh pandal, Lalbaugcha Raja.
Speaking on her visit to famous Lalbaughcha Raja, Pooja says, “This is my second visit to auspicious Bappa, I love the positivity of this festival. I have a special connection with Lord Ganpati as my first gold purchase was a small bappa pendant. I used to wear it every day but now am not wearing as my new show Kasauti has a different look and get up. I have given my pendant to my mother and she is wearing it on my behalf.”
So, what have you asked from Ganpati? “I have prayed for everyone’s success and well-being. I am eagerly waiting for my entry in the show, hoping and praying that fans of Kasauti will like my character and look in the show.”
Actress Erica Fernandez also accompanied Pooja to Lalbaugh.
