Amal Sehrawat of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame is all up for being bold these days.
His upcoming movie Chudail Story will see a different side of the actor where he has shed his inhibitions and crossed the extra mile to fit his character. The movie is releasing on Friday, 13 May. Paired opposite Amal would be a newcomer Preeti Soni.
Shared a source, “Amal is playing the lead in the horror film that also has a lot of bold stuff. The film is all set to release soon, opening new gates for the actor.”
When we buzzed Amal, he shared, “I am really excited for the movie and looking forward to the new start. Yeh Rishta… has given me a great exposure and am now I am all excited to explore the new world.”
With a lot of intimate scenes part of the flick, we wondered if he got jitters shooting for the same. “Being a professional I was not at all nervous. The funny part was that the entire team was cheering us and it was a hilarious moment for both of us,” he added.
TV although is turning progressive, Amal said that it will take time for it to go bold. “Families get together and watch TV thus it might get uncomfortable and embarrassing for people to watch such stuff. A bahu cannot watch intimate videos with in-laws. But I think gradually we are showcasing reality but in our country, TV will still be family oriented.”
